The Deaccessioned drawings are based on photocopies submitted by viewers to my on-going project The Marginalia Archive during its last installation at the beginning of 2020. Some of the submissions didn’t meet the requirements for inclusion in the archive. Instead of discarding them, I “deaccessioned” them from the archive and used them as source material for small scale, individual drawings.

The Errata drawings record “error” copies that I have made over the course of the past two decades while attempting to crop or enlarge passages of texts on various photocopiers. #erratadrawing
