"I read this the first time last summer in Greece. I was studying to start a new body of work based on Buffy and mythology. It had been recommended to me by a well read friend a few years ago and lingered on my long term to do list until it really became relevant.

"I chose this section because it was the line I had been searching for out of the set of 5 or 6 books I read . . . I wanted to understand why we created and retained mythology -- how it functions in our society still (and if it does still function). It really hit home for me with my obsession with Disneyland."
